Nathan Wilson has re-signed with the Greater Western Sydney Giants for another three years.
The 22-year-old has reportedly also attracted the attention of Port Adelaide, Brisbane Lions and Adelaide Crows, all of whom have expressed an interest in signing him but Wilson had no intention to trade himself somewhere else.
“I’ve been here for five years now and the club, and Sydney, are home,” he said in a press conference.
“I’ve loved my time here at the Giants and this is where I want to be playing my football.”
Giants Chief Executive David Matthews is happy with the Western Australian’s decision to remain with the club.
“As one of our original players, we’re proud to have Nathan re-sign with the club,” he said.
“This season has been our best yet, both on and off the field, and Nathan adds his name to a long list of players who can see what this club is building.”
The Giants have now managed to resign 11 players including Jeremy Cameron, Dylan Shiel and Devon Smith.
