Here is a wrap of this week’s entertainment news:

Rihanna joins debate on Israeli-Palestinian conflict
Pop star Rihanna joined the debate tweeting the hashtag #FreePalestine, but only for a mere 8 minutes before deleting the tweet. However, it was up long enough to be retweeted almost 7000 times. After deleting the initial tweet, Rihanna shared a less one-sided perspective praying for peace and a swift end to the conflict. She is not the only celebrity that has been caught tweeting and deleting a #FreePalestine tweet. American NBA star Dwight Howard posted the same tweet before deleting it and apologising.
House Husbands going global
Channel Nine’s hit family drama House Husbands will be re-made in France and Italy. The series is about the relationships between four stay-at-home dads and their families. House Husbands is produced by Playmaker Media for the Nine Network. “The rise of the stay-at home-dad is obviously happening everywhere and it’s great when a warm, funny and relatable Aussie drama like House Husbands resonates internationally,” Playmaker’s David Maher said. Nine‘s head of drama, Andy Ryan believes the deal is win because the French and Italian markets are particularly competitive. “Just like Australian viewers, the French and Italian networks fell in love with House Husbands immediately and we can’t wait to see their local versions,” he said.
Ray Hadley storms out on Karl Stefanovic
Ray Hadley walked out on Today Show host Karl Stefanovic after he assigned the nation to be matchmakers for the radio host. “I’m just trying to find Raymond love,” Stefanovic said in a statement on Tuesday afternoon. “He works hard and deserves it. He has a tough shell but a heart made of marshmallow. Pls help.” [sic] After accusing Stefanovic of ‘‘perpetuating myths,’’ Hadley pulled out his earpiece and got up to walk off the set. The interview was already awkward but it was the point when Stefanovic asked about Hadley’s personal life that really tipped the balance. “Any private conversation we may have, you can’t keep to yourself,” Hadley told Stefanovic.”There was a report last week that I was dating Delta Goodrem’s mum. I’ve never been to breakfast with her. Stop trying to perpetuate myths.” He then got up to leave the set as Stefanovic chuckled.
Big Bang Theory stars seeking $1 million per episode
Stars of the hit US sitcom are yet to sign new contracts and they are believed to be holding out for $US1 million an episode. US network CBS has already green lit three more seasons of The Big Bang Theory, which airs in Australia on the Nine Network, but negotiations with actors has hit a snag. The Hollywood Reporter said actors Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar have not signed and are working together to achieve a huge pay increase.
