The fan-favourite took out the Big Brother crown last night.
Formally known for streaking on a plane hosted by Rihanna, Tim Dormer will now be recognised as the winner of Big Brother 2013 with $250,000 to prove it.
“I can’t believe it, I cannot believe,” the radio jock told The Today Show this morning.
Dormer was the last man standing, surviving 101 days cut-off from the outside world and outlasting 18 other housemates. In the final, voted by the public, he beat Jade Pietrantonio and Tahan Lew-Fatt.
In the three-hour finale, Dormer was named winner by gaining 36 per cent of public votes. Tahan was the first casualty of the night only garnering 30 per cent of the public’s vote, while Jade just missed out with 34 per cent.
He plans to share his winnings with series favourite Ben and Drew. “I promised Benny I’d take him to Graceland – he is the biggest Elvis fan you’ll ever meet and Drew and I are going to South America,” he said.
Previously evicted housemates were brought back with Drew and Tully the main focus. Sonia Kruger pressed the lovebirds on the outlook of their relationship but the pair remained tight-lipped.
Tully, one of the more controversial housemates in this year’s series, cheated on her girlfriend with Drew. Previously evicted, she returned as part of a challenge where she shared a kiss with Drew and whispered, “I’m single.”
It was a Hollywood moment.
The 29 year old, labelled a strategist early on, told host Sonia Kruger that he had played with his head, not with his heart.
“I’m going to need a bigger wallet,” Tim said when Kruger told him how much he had won.
