The Canterbury Bulldogs will face off against the Penrith Panthers this Thursday at Pepper Stadium.
The Bulldogs hope to cement their premiership claim after an impressive effort from their forward pack in their 28-6 win over the Manly Sea Eagles last Friday. NSW enforcer David Klemmer returns from his one-game suspension and is looking to strengthen the Bulldogs’ forward pack.
After their 30-22 loss to the Canberra Raiders the Penrith Panthers are looking to make amends at home, celebrating 50 years in the competition. They will be without star hooker James Segeyaro who suffered a broken arm. Tyrone Peachey will fill in for him.
Players to watch:
Bulldogs captain James Graham; who played a key role in last week’s victory by running for 230 meters.
Panthers: Both Trent Merrin and Bryce Cartwright are set for big performances, both having good footwork at the line. Both players hope to push their name forward for selection for representative teams. – James Wardell
