Students at Australia’s Torrens University have been given the opportunity of a lifetime, after football giants Real Madrid announced a partnership yesterday.
Voted the world’s most valuable sports team three years in a row, Real Madrid are now giving students studying Sports Management at Torrens University in Australia, the opportunity to study and work abroad.
The students will take part in a hands-on experience with the Spanish football club, a first for Australia which will give students the advantage of a joint degree from both Torrens University and Real Madrid’s graduate school the European University of Madrid.
Organisers are hoping it will open more doors for students wishing to study in this industry. —Ellen Conroy.
