Kelly Clarkson surprises fans on April Fools’ Day
American singer Kelly Clarkson surprised a lucky group of fans at LA’s The Grove Mall on Wednesday morning with a mini concert. The new mum took to the stage to sing some of her biggest hits, including Since You’ve Been Gone and her newest track, Heartbeat Song. Before singing the opening of Catch My Breath, she invited the audience to sing along if they knew the words and joked that not everyone knows the lyrics to the 2012 single.
Zayn Malik’s solo track taken down after angry response from former bandmate
A song featuring Zayn Malik was taken down less than a day after it was shared on Soundcloud. Producer Naughty Boy tweeted a link to the track early on Tuesday, with the words “Let the music do the talking”. It came less than a week after Malik confirmed he was quitting One Direction to become a “normal 22-year-old”. Earlier, One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson accused Naughty Boy of being “inconsiderate” to fans after he retweeted a video about Malik. They argued on Twitter hours before the demo was made public. Malik has not commented.
Joni Mitchell in good spirits after being rushed to Los Angeles hospital
Canadian folk singer Joni Mitchell is in “good spirits“ after bring rushed to intensive care. The 71-year-old was found unconscious at her Bel Air home in LA. According to a statement on her official website, the singer is awake and undergoing tests.
