A rematch between boxers Danny Green and Anthony Mundine will take place at Adelaide Oval on February 3, 2017.
Proclaimed as the $30 million fight of the century, the two men are expected to fight in front of 37,000 people.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by sports minister Leon Bignell.
The two rivals last fought at Allianz Stadium 11 years ago in front of 30,000 people. Mundine won the fight by a unanimous decision.
Former boxer Jeff Fenech has come out in the media and said that the fight should be called off.
“I believe that the fight shouldn’t be allowed to go ahead. Forget the money,” he said.
Fenech believes that if Green manages to punch Mundine cleanly, Mundine could face serious health problems in the future.
With both men in their forties, I hope for the fans, it is not a fizzer – in respect for what these legends have done inside the ring, and throughout their entire careers. – Jesse Mullens
