The Cleveland Cavaliers hit back with a 90-120 win over Golden State Warriors to avoid going down 3-0 in the NBA Finals series.
Golden State had a chance to extend their lead to 3-0 in yesterday’s game three but a Cleveland side led by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving triumphed to take the series back to 2-1, with the next game on Saturday at Cleveland.
James displayed why he is the king with 32 points and 11 rebounds, while Melbourne-born Irving wasn’t far behind with 30 points and eight assists.
The Warriors’ cult hero Stephen Curry trailed well behind, picking up only 19 points and averaging 16 points in his last three games, compared to his 30-odd average through the regular season.
