What’s it all about?
The “wow brow” has well and truly made a comeback so you might as well jump on the bandwagon, because a good set can really frame your face and set off your features.
Napoleon Perdis has always been a big fan of the “high brow”, with Brooke Shields and Audrey Hepburn’s iconic arches in his list of all-time faves.
His own set are so arched they could be mistaken for upside-down Nike ticks, so it’s no surprise he’s named his newest release Browtox – a play on words of his favourite injectable – worth $39.
What’s surprising is that it’s taken him this long to release this eye-chanting elixir for brilliant brows.
The good bits:
If you want to tame unruly brows and give Cara Delevingne a run for her money, this is a great product for you. The synthetic beeswax grips to stiff hairs that have a mind of their own and the colour is great for brows that are light to medium toned.
It’s also fantastic that the kit comes with a double-sided applicator, one end a mascara-wand, the other a small angled brush – perfect for creating and combing through your arches.
Also, if you’re prone to sweating and find that your makeup moves quite easily, this product will not budge. Your brows won’t end up down the side of your face, I promise.
The bad bits:
The product is too light for dark-haired mavens. To finish the brow look, a slight deepening of colour with a matte brown shadow is required, which kinda sucks if you want one product to do the job.
