The Swans and Giants will battle it out once again in the Sydney Derby this weekend.
The notoriously tough contest will be held in front of a packed Spotless Stadium in Sydney on Sunday afternoon. The last clash of these two teams was in round three of the competition, with the Swans grinding out a hard fought victory. If the Giants beat the Swans this time, it will be their first win against the home-town rivals since round one in 2014.
The Giants are coming off the back of two consecutive losses and a victory could see them scrape into the top four.
The Swans are on-form, bagging three consecutive wins. With Lance Franklin back to his best, they seem to be unbeatable.
Franklin and Giants mid-fielder Dylan Shiel will both be players to watch come Sunday.
Franklin has the ability to kick goals from anywhere and take vital marks. His position placement is perfect and Franklin proves week in and week out that he is a marquee player for the AFL.
Shiel rocks the mid-field and is expected to be club champion, and has certainly impressed the Giants so far. To start the season he was 75th in the players rankings and has since moved up to 17th. – Jesse Mullens
Prediction: Swans by 20
