Super moon, Biden and Obama memes and all-you-can-eat pizza… Here’s your weekly dose of what’s trending on social media.
#PizzaHut
Remember the glorious all-you-can-eat buffets at the old dine-in Pizza Hut stores that abruptly disappeared off the face of the earth? Well, guess what guys? It just might be your lucky day! Pizza Hut has confirmed a deal with fellow pizza chain, Eagle Boys, and will be opening its first rebranded store in Sydney’s Collaroy!
The new marketing strategy focuses on growing distribution and brand presence, emphasising what makes Pizza Hut unique from rivaling pizza companies. This means possibly bringing back the high demand dine-in restaurants that most Australians long for. Tweeters are getting excited!
Oh hell yes! Including my family, this is what I miss about Bendigo the most!

#EnterSandman
American hip hop group The Roots teamed up with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show to perform a rendition of Metallica’s all-time hit Enter Sandman with the thrash gods themselves! But that’s not all; they performed with… monkeys! Just kidding! Their rendition was actually performed with kids’ musical instruments.
This isn’t the only classroom instrument hit performed on the show – Adele, Meghan Trainor and even Sesame Street have all jammed away with fun-loving Jimmy, but I think this one is the best. It’s been live for less than 20 hours on YouTube and has already racked up almost a million views. Check it out below.
#SuperMoon
Social media was taken over with pictures of the super moon captured all around the world this week, when the moon appeared 14 per cent larger and 30 per cent brighter. While we can’t guarantee the validity of all of these photos … these definitely are our favourites!

After the shock result of President Trump, people have found comfort in hilarious memes showing photos of Obama and Vice President Biden together, and it honestly looks like the photos have been set up for a viral meme-a-thon! Here are a few for a laugh. — Compiled from web sources by Vivien Wickham.
