The live-action adaption of The Jungle Book was released in Australian cinemas yesterday.
Starring Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johansson and Idris Elba, the modern retelling of the Rudyard Kipling novel follows Disney’s recent trend of adapting their animated films to a live-action format.
Other classic Disney products that have undergone a similar treatment include Maleficent (2014) and Cinderella (2015).
The Newsroom took to the streets to ask the public how they felt about the remaking of this film.
