Ultimate Fighting Championship presents another full Saturday program (today, AEST), at the Mandalay Bays Centre in Las Vegas.
The headlined main event will be a middleweight championship bout between American fighter Chris Weidman (current champion) and Brazilian fighter Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida.
Weidman comes into the fight after successfully defending the title in a rematch with former middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva in a fight that UFC fans on the edge of their seats. Machida, a former UFC lightweight champion, has won his last two fights and would be the first fighter to beat the current champion.
The co-main event of the night will be a women’s bantamweight championship bout between American fighter Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey (current champion) and Canadian fighter Alexis Davis. Both fighters are so far undefeated in the UFC. Rousey has successfully defended her title four times and is the punters’ favourite. Davis has won all her UFC fights via decision.
