The Sydney Swans new player Tyrone Leonardis has had a rocky start after his Facebook history has shown him liking pages flogging Adam Goodes.
A screenshot from his social media page revealed that the 18-year-old has liked pages named “Adam Goodes for Flog of the Year” and “Adam Goode’s for wanker of the year”.
The youngster, who was a former defender for the Melbourne club the Northern Knights, was selected by the Swans in pick 51 during the National Draft last night.

Veteran Swans player Adam Goodes copped criticism this year after being repeatedly booed during matches and being subjected to racist taunts. The two-time Brownlow Medallist winner took a break from the game in July and retired in September this year.
Before this, Goodes took part in a war dance in response to heckling and charged at Carlton Blues fans in May.
The Swans General manager Tom Harley has revealed the club has been made aware of Leonardis’ Facebook activity.
“They were groups he joined in February and he is really apologetic. It is a really good reminder of the pitfalls of social media. It is not ideal but he is unbelievably apologetic,” Harley said.
“He is feeling really bad, and it is a conversation we will pick up with him when he arrives.
“It is a really tangible example of the dangers of social media.” – Sam Pasfield
