The Bathurst 1000 kicks off this weekend, with the new ‘King of the Mountain’ set to be crowned on Sunday.
2014 King of the Mountain champion, Chaz Mostert, will look for redemption this year after a horror crash in a training session which left him unable to drive last season.
On the other hand, six-time winner of the Bathurst 100, Mark Skaife has predicted Holden driver Jamie Whincup to claim his 5th Bathurst crown with his partner Paul Dumbrell.
Defending champion Craig Lowndes will also look to cement his status as one of the greats, going for an incredible seventh Bathurst victory.
Women will be included in the race once again after a few duos made their debut last year.
