• OPI is a gold sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This October OPI released a limited edition nail art pack with all profits donated to the foundation. Earlier this year they released a Pink of Hearts duo pack including More Than A Glimmer a unique blend of silver, pink and teal glitter. And, Pinki-ng Of You OPI’s classic soft pink, along with 10 pink ribbon stick-on decals (nail sticker) and crystals. This year OPI will mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating $25,000 to Susan G. Komen, the largest breast cancer foundation in the US, and $5000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada. “OPI is proud to support [breast cancer research] with the seventh annual Pink of Hearts promotion,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder and artistic director. “I encourage women to create and customize their own Pink of Hearts manicure, wearing these colours as a visible way to honour everyone whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.”
• While keeping up the tradition of natural beauty and supporting Breast Cancer Research, Bobbi Brown offers a limited-edition set featuring a Pink Ribbon French Pink Blush and Mini Face Blender Brush. The set retails at $85, and the company will donate 20 per cent of that to the research foundation.
• Two of Australia’s most iconic beauty and lifestyle brands, ModelCo and ECOYA, have collaborated to create a handmade natural soy wax candle, in the distinctive ECOYA Sweet Pea and Jasmine Scent, to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All funds raised from the Limited Edition Metro Jar candle will be donated to The National Breast Cancer Foundation, to raise awareness and support research. “Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting women in Australia and we are honoured to work with such a like-minded company for such a worthy and much needed cause,” says ModelCo CEO Shelly Barrett.
• This year, as it has since 2007, Jane Iredale Australia is supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation with its new, limited edition Bright Future compact. Bright Future is a gorgeous mirrored compact featuring five classic eye shadow shades.
