Kurtley Beale has been accused of an abusive mid flight tirade towards a female Wallabies manager.
Beale reportedly argued with the female member of the management team to the point where she left the team and flew home to Australia on Tuesday. Head coach Ewen McKenzie missed a training session ahead of the Wallabies match against Argentina this weekend to resolve the incident.
After a string of minor mishaps this was the icing on the cake for McKenzie, who said “I was dealing with team matters, since we’ve been here it’s been a fairly awkward entry, bags and lots of other issues going on,” he said.
This means that McKenzie will only attend one full training session ahead of this weekend’s game. Beale was dropped from the team this afternoon. – Ashley Kearney
