A Norwegian man who shot to fame by having a McDonald’s receipt tattooed to his arm has now inked his other arm with the receipt from the tattoo parlour.
Stian Ytterdahl, 18, whose McDonald’s tattoo was “punishment” from friends for being “too active on the ladies front”, agreed to the second tattoo when it was offered for free.
“Now I’m a living billboard, but I think it’s all just fun,” Ytterdahl told Norway’s Romerike’s Blad newspaper.
“Maybe it won’t be as fun when I’m 50 or 60 years old, but that’s my choice.”
Mr Ytterdahl’s right arm went viral on social media last week when the tattoo artist put a photograph of the McDonald’s tattoo on Facebook. Within 24 hours it had been shared 230 times and had more than 1000 likes.
The tattoo was Mr Ytterdahl’s preferred choice of two options. “They (his friends) said I had to tattoo a Barbie doll on my bum, or the receipt on my arm,” Mr Ytterdahl said.
Think that’s weird? Here are some other strange tattoo creations and mishaps.
