Sydney Swans are two losses from two games and desperately need structure ahead of their clash with Adelaide.
Swans defender Rhys Shaw admits Sydney’s early form has cost them, but remains hopeful for the “long season” ahead.
Sydneys’ attacking efficiency was terrible last week at 38 percent from inside 50. Shaw addressed the issue, saying “As a forward line, we can definitely work better.”
Struggling to sustain pressure this year, Shaw said he “Played in patches, pretty much like the team, and that’s just not good enough.” The Swans dropped final quarter leads to Greater Western Sydney and Collingwood successively.
Looking forward to Adelaide, Shaw assured the fans and said “We’re still the same Sydney”.
The Swans favourite fan Ken “Kenny” Williams turned 85 today, and was surprised when Adam Goodes congratulated him with cake, followed by the team singing happy birthday.
