Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans has decided to backflip on his deal with the Gold Coast will be staying at Manly until the end of the 2018 season.
Cherry-Evans has been a common feature on media front pages after he signed a deal with the Gold Coast Titans to play for them at the beginning of the 2016 season back in early March. Speculation began about whether Cherry-Evans would would renege on his contract. The Queensland and Australian representative repeatedly denied the claims.
After months of coverage, it has now been revealed that Cherry-Evans will indeed stay at Manly after signing a new deal with Manly reportedly worth $3.5 million.
