A brace from Luis Suarez helped Barcelona to a 4-0 win over rivals Real Madrid in this morning’s El Clasico.
Lionel Messi was only fit enough for the Barcelona bench after returning from nearly two months on the sidelines with a knee injury, but Neymar and Suarez carried on their fine form scoring three goals between them.
Barcelona was dominant throughout the entire game and opened the scoring early when Suarez struck past Keylor Navas from 16 yards, before Neymar side footed home six minutes before half-time.
Andres Iniesta scored their third with a typical Barcelona tiki-taka play, before Suarez scored his second of the evening.
Real Madrid’s performance went from bad to worse when play maker Isco was sent off for a rash challenge in the dying stages of the match.
Real Madrid saw only one clear opportunity against the league leaders when Cristiano Ronaldo was denied a point-blank effort by Claudio Bravo 22 minutes from time.
